Nicholas relates to his clients through his own personal journey to health. Growing up his meals consisted of highly processed foods, sodas, and a lot of fast food. In his early 20’s he realized there was a better way to eat and get the nutrients his body needs to function at a higher level. Through his journey he found his passion for nutrition and wanted to share that with others. He went back to college to earn a degree in Nutrition & Food Science with a concentration in dietetics and then attended Vanderbilt University Medical Center to complete his dietetic training. After obtaining his RDN license he worked as an in-patient clinical dietitian.
Wanting to spend more time with his patients, Nicholas launched Halcyon Health in 2020. He’s found great success with helping his clients achieve their health goals and significantly improve their quality of life!
When launching Halcyon Health, Nicholas knew there were very few queer dietitians and none specifically reaching out to the LGBTQ+ community. From his own experience seeking healthcare professionals, he knows that representation matters and the LGBTQ+ community have unique health needs. To help bridge the gap, Nicholas has made it his mission to proudly serve LGBTQ+ community.
